DJ Harrison is a Richmond, VA Grammy-nominated producer, performer and artist who began writing his new record ElectroSoul after an unexpected hospital stay.
Making music was the first step towards healing once he got home, and the songs he wrote quickly evolved into ElectroSoul – his most ambitious album yet, featuring collaborations with artists from his community and beyond including Pink Siifu, Yaya Bey, Yazmin Lacey, Fly Anakin, Angélica Garcia, Miguel-Atwood Ferguson, Kiefer & many more.
Together, they create the album’s distinct sound, which travels slickly through lo-fi hiphop to indie rock via jazz, funk and R&B and features DJ Harrison's "warm and fuzzy" signature sound at the centre.
