James, Elmore: Blues After Hours (Vinyl LP)

This quintessential release includes Elmore James and his band The Broom Dusters’ magnificent debut album, Blues After Hours, originally released in 1960 by the Crown label. It’s one of the all-time cornerstones of the genre. 

The King of the Slide Guitar’s Crown LP with bonus tracks mainly from the Chicago sessions, featuring the wonderful pianist Little Johnny Jones with Eddie Taylor and J.T. Brown. Newly-discovered master tapes result in the best-ever sound for these recordings.
