Recorded and released in 1983, at the peak of their hardcore punk period, where speed, rage and intensity still ruled, but with increased melodicism seeping-in, especially on Grant Hart’s songs.

Seven tracks of sonic perfection (with three other outtakes used for compilation contributions, and 'Standing By The Sea' put on hold till appearing on Zen Arcade, half a year later) featuring Bob Mould guitar work at its speed-driven, open-stringed, best.
