Grand Slam was formed in 1984 by Thin Lizzy’s Phil Lynott and guitarist Laurence Archer. It only seems befitting that they will celebrate Record Store Day by releasing their take on the Thin Lizzy classic ‘Whiskey In The Jar’ - on vinyl for the first time ever. This beauty is presented on limited edition 12” picture disc vinyl.
Fans and collector completists alike are in for a real treat, with side A featuring ‘Whiskey In The Jar’ and side B featuring the epic, multi-layered and steamy ‘Pirate Song’, taken from the band’s critically acclaimed studio album Wheel Of Fortune.
