Inspired by Record Store Day and the great experience releasing special projects in 2024 and 2025 - Emika produced this album with RSD 2026 in mind.

‘After having a chat with Jim Barr (from the band Portishead) about using studios more as spaces for improvising (not only to hire one to finish pre-written songs in) I saw it both as an invitation and challenge, to spend a week in his Bristol studio jamming around’ - Emika.
