Brace Yourself is the debut release from Dublin psychedelic punkers, Creepy Future. It’s a 14 track LP recorded and mixed by Tommy O’Sullivan (Estel, DeepintheWoods66) and is being co-released (on vinyl) on their own Swizz Records and Distro-Y Records on Friday, March 27.
Creepy Future specialise in short bursts of high energy punk rock and their new record distils the explosive rush of their live shows down to thirty no-nonsense minutes. The songs deal with sugar highs, night terrors, underwater worlds and other hot topics. Conzo sings and plays guitar and keyboards; Moose plays bass and drones; Derek plays drums and sings backing vocals.
They’ve all been involved (and continue to be involved) in other dynamite bands - Wild Rocket; Black Coral; Moutpiece; Objectorz; Female Hercules; Afterwardness – though Creepy Future is very much its own thing. Following the release the band will be out performing live shows across Ireland and beyond.
