When it comes to big, krangy, heavy guitar, Link Wray is the progenitor. With the aid of a pencil poked through the speaker of his amp, he invented rock music. He started out playing hillbilly and rockabilly, but the discovery of distortion launched a career that has endured for over 40 years.
This LP is the second longest running title in the Ace catalogue, now in its 21st year in print. It features 14 tracks including 'Batman Theme', 'Ace of Spades', 'Jack the Ripper' and 'Rumble'.
