Enunciated in a canny blend of nasal Dublin accent and Americanisms, Green Diesel presents a unique sound from Kojaque & Luka Palm, who’ve been hitting this sound since middle of the decade.
The styles spread out from dusty jazz downbeats to breezy trap modernism and R&B-spiced classicism in eight parts produced by Gaptoof and Kojaque, and at best in the red-eyed drawl of ‘Date Night’ where Luka Palm sounds like Conor McGregor chatting about doing MDMA, and again on the rude lean of ‘SPIT DAT OUT'.
