The song and the sound of the record were built around singer, Amy Boone’s voice, the lush production skills of Askew, and the horn and string arrangement by Delines keyboardist, Cory Gray.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEarlier 2022 the Delines released their heralded third record \u003cem\u003eThe Sea Drift\u003c\/em\u003e which was featured in top twenty year-end polls across the EU and UK. It received number 1 in the UK (Americana UK, Uncut), plus top 20 in Uncut, Rolling Stone France, Volkstrant Holland and El Pais Spain (El Pais).
