Spacemen 3: Live In Europe 1989 (Coloured Vinyl 2xLP)
Regular price
€29.95
Cult band Spacemen 3 recorded four studio and one live album before their demise in 1990, the main song writers going on to form Spiritualized (Jason Pierce) and Spectrum (Pete Kember) this live album was recorded in Germany during the band's European tour of 1989, which was sadly to be one of their last live performances.
Starting with their regular opening song 'Rollercoaster' - a building, pulsing track that works up the emotions ready for the rest of the set - including; '2:35' a Spacemen 3 classic and regular since 1984, 'Things'll Never Be the Same', 'Revolution' a song once requested by MTV for use as a theme tune for a new show and their usual last song 'Suicide' also included are tracks that didn't regularly make the shows, such as; 'Bo Diddley Jam' an instrumental show of Spacemen 3's trademark drones and feedback, 'Lord Can You Hear Me' and 'I Believe It', both emotionally moving pieces from Playing With Fire (also on Space Age Recordings) but very rarely played live. Orange/green splatter vinyl version.
